Project Controls Lead/Primavera P6 Scheduler – Power PMO

POSITION OVERVIEW
Danovo Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Controls Lead / Primavera P6 Scheduler to support large-scale power infrastructure programs serving mission-critical data centers. This role will be a key member of the Owner’s Representative Power Program Management Office (Power PMO), responsible for developing, integrating, maintaining, and analyzing the Integrated Master Project Schedule across multiple EPC contractors and project stakeholders.
The successful candidate will serve as the project’s scheduling authority, ensuring that engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and owner activities are fully integrated into a single executable schedule that supports informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
This position does not include project financial management responsibilities. The primary focus is schedule development, project controls, schedule analytics, forecasting, reporting, and coordination.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and administer the Integrated Master Project Schedule using Primavera P6.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, vendor, and owner schedules into a single program schedule.
- Perform critical path analysis, float analysis, schedule risk assessments, and schedule health evaluations.
- Identify schedule conflicts, interface constraints, and potential impacts to key project milestones.
- Develop schedule recovery scenarios and mitigation plans.
- Coordinate schedule updates with EPC contractors, vendors, consultants, and owner representatives.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and support project planning sessions.
- Monitor project progress and verify schedule performance against established baselines.
- Prepare executive schedule reports, milestone forecasts, dashboards, and project status presentations.
- Support commissioning planning, integrated testing activities, and milestone readiness reviews.
- Maintain schedule assumptions, constraints, and milestone logic.
- Assist with development of project controls procedures, reporting standards, and scheduling best practices.
- Support continuous improvement of PMO project controls processes and scheduling methodologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 6–10 years of Primavera P6 scheduling and project controls experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining integrated master schedules for complex capital projects.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling methodology, critical path analysis, float management, and schedule forecasting.
- Experience coordinating multiple contractors and project stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
TRAVEL
The ideal candidate is willing and able to travel to client and project locations, typically 25-50% depending on the project phase. This is a remote, full-time position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or hyperscale infrastructure projects.
- Experience supporting utility, generation, transmission, renewable energy, battery energy storage (BESS), or other EPC energy projects.
- Experience supporting large capital programs exceeding $100 million.
- Familiarity with commissioning schedules, integrated testing, and project turnover activities.
- Experience working within an Owner’s Representative, PMO, EPC, or Program Controls organization.
