  • Support revenue recognition, accruals, and project financial adjustments in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, track outstanding balances, and partner with clients and internal teams to ensure timely collections.
  • Perform intercompany matching and reconciliations across Quanta entities.
  • Assist with financial audits by preparing project-level data and documentation to demonstrate compliance and control integrity.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline billing and financial processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage workload and task priorities independently across multiple billing cycles and project commitments.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation to support project billing and reporting requirements.
  • Communicate professionally with clients to clarify billing terms, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Controller and PMO to support consistent and transparent financial reporting.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Five or more years of experience in project billing, accounting, or finance operations.
  • Experience with accounting or project ERP systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint or Microsoft Dynamics SL.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of WIP transactions, accounts receivable processes, and GAAP principles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across project teams and with clients.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
