POSITION OVERVIEW

The Investment Planning Management Services Advisor is responsible for leading efforts to improve operational and project delivery processes managed by utility industry clients. They will leverage process development techniques and analytical tools to organize and plan complex projects while supporting implementation and communication. This is a multi-faceted role with a focus on building capabilities within client companies to execute larger volumes of work. The Investment Planning Management Services Advisor must be able to understand complex industry and technical challenges to develop and lead solutions at the tactical level.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Modeling

• Analyze data models to deliver logical conclusions.
• Analyze key metrics data to help leaders make informed business decisions.

Process Development and Improvement

• Create and update processes, systems, and workflows needed, including governance, organizational buildouts, and change management.
• Develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes.
• Design and implement project management-related process improvements.

Reporting and Communication

• Run internal and external weekly/monthly reports and dashboards.
• Develop leadership presentations to share progress and updates.

Project Management Support

• Assist Operations with day-to-day project management tasks, including Project Management Workbook setup, reports, schedules, budgets, and resource management.
• Handle administrative duties and processes related to project needs.
• Technical Expertise and Customer Interaction
• Present Danovo Energy Solutions competencies and offerings to customers.
• Gain trust as an expert in the practice area.
• Keep abreast of related technical developments in the field.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development responsibilities include identifying and helping to develop strategic revenue-generating relationships with existing or potential customers. After an initial adjustment period, Advisors typically will perform Business Development activities assisting others in this area. Achievement of Business Development activities which result in being able to support one’s self in billable work.

Required QUALIFICATIONS

Travel

This is a remote position; however, travel may be required on occasion based on client assignments.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or another related discipline
  
• Experience managing and supporting technology deployment
  
• Relevant experience in the electric utility and critical power industry

Systems & Skills

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a team dynamic
  
• Excellent communicator with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
  
• Capabilities in project management
  
• Organized and focused
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  
• Experience with commonly used project management tools (MS Project, Primavera)

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree in data science, engineering, economics, or another related field with emphasis on data analysis
  
• 9+ years of relevant work experience
